I really didn't know how this record would pan out
Lockdown happened and I didn't have a band so I started writing
I thought that I would record an album all by myself
It was a period of reflection for me
And this is what this album evolves around
I also wanted to expand my music vocabulary
I realised that I was listening to so much music of great variety
But I only played a fraction of that in my previous bands
I decided not to be constrained by any genres
And instead I utilised all creative ideas that came to me
I immersed myself in the music creation process
It's been a journey but also a new beginning for me
It has been about expansion and exploration
The album you are listening to is the output of this creative energy
It's my gift to you
